In 1995, Tim Brown founded a company that would eventually become known as University Software Development. University Software Development was founded to develop some software for the Department of Psychology at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. After a few years of development work, the company became dormant, and Tim worked as a programmer, analyst, consultant, team leader, and instructor. During that time, he worked with some great companies. He is particularly proud of his associations with Digital Consulting and Software Services (DCSS) and Object Computing, Inc. (OCI). In January of 2005, after many years of working with Dr. John Stern and Bio-Behavior Analysis Systems as a contractor, subcontractor, and collaborator, University Software Development was merged into Bio-Behavior Analysis Systems. The merged company combined the Psychophysiological and Bio-Behavioral research strengths of Bio-Behavior Analysis Systems with the specialized software development strengths of University Software Development and retained the Bio-Behavior Analysis Systems name.
